Cornerstone Charter Academy held it's AdvanceEd Accreditation external review team visit November 2018.

Schools must go through a re-accreditation process every 5 years. Two teams, with 5 team members each, were sent, one for each charter-K-8 and 9-12.

The AdvancEd accreditation process is comprehensive, evaluating all parts of CCA. The process focused on vision and goals, evaluated teaching and learning, and examined how results are documented and resources allocated. The AdvancEd standards are the foundation of the process and all standards must be met.
 
Cornerstone displayed a commitment to continuous improvement, met strict quality standards and we demonstrated quality assurance.

AdvancEd represents unified polices and procedures for accreditation from  SACSCASI- a regional AdvancEd division.
