The Student Government Association (SGA) is a student organization elected by
Cornerstone students to represent the Cornerstone student body. SGA is
committed to representing the Cornerstone Charter Academy student community.
The SGA is a club, whose members demonstrate personal responsibility and
leadership. They are here to provide outstanding service to our school and
community.

Student Government Members are enthusiastic leaders who take their roles
seriously. Student Government Members meet on a regular basis. At meetings,
they discuss planned agendas relating to various activities led by Government
leaders. Notes for the meeting are recorded by the Government Secretary, who
later posts them online at the school's website. The treasurer is responsible
for keeping track of funds.

It is the goal of all Student Government Members to lead by example by being
positive leaders and working together for a better school community for all
students at Cornerstone Charter Academy.

The Student Government Council plays a very important role at Cornerstone
Charter Academy. They help share student ideas, interests, and concerns with
the teachers and Principal. They help the students raise funds for school wide
projects. They assist the community when they are in need. Being on the
Student Council is also something that helps our students become responsible and
active members of the community.
